The Role

Showroom based Sales Professional to drive walk-in sales and promote the Tuckwell brand by creating and maintaining an appealing showroom environment.

Essential Duties

  • To facilitate and drive walk-in sales by giving advice on equipment options and suitability
  • Prepare machinery specifications and pricing quotations
  • Responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience in the showroom
  • Maintaining the web shop with up-to-date pricing, specifications and equipment
  • Executes all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance in conjunction with the sales tools available from our suppliers
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment including accessories and attends relevant sales training events.
  • Represent Tuckwells at local and regional shows and events.
  • Monitor’s competitor activity and products and communicates to the sales management accordingly.
  • Ensures goods delivery, demonstrations and follow up is carried out by the relevant teams.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent customer service delivered using a friendly and professional attitude
  • Turf industry knowledge or an interest in the industry
  • Experience of promoting and dealing with web sales
  • Driving seasonal promotions, advertising and maintain showroom pricing to match promotions
  • Developing showroom layouts and seasonal displays
  • Ensure representation of brands
  • Able to accurately arrange deliveries and demonstrations
  • Assist with open days and regional shows
  • Use CRM to log all enquiries, opportunities and contacts

This role will be 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings on a rota (average of 42 hours per week)
