Truck Driver / Yard Person – Kilmeedy, Co. Limerick

Job Function:

Geary’s Garage Ltd., suppliers of John Deere agricultural machinery are looking for someone to join our team in Kilmeedy, Co Limerick; this is a full time position.

Essential Duties:

• Assisting in loading and unloading of equipment and ensuring safe working practices are followed while keeping the yard moving.
• Ensuring that all equipment and vehicles that are due to leave have a completed pre-hire inspection and are clean internally and externally.
• Delivering and collecting of tractors & machinery
• Ensuring good communication with all departments regarding the receiving and dispatch of all equipment and vehicles.
• Other ad hoc jobs as required

Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift Truck Licence
• Rigid and Artic Vehicle Licences (Essential)
• Full clean licences required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Enthusiastic attitude and team player
• Experience in agricultural sector preferred
• Organised with a focus on tidiness and safety
