Farol Ltd is an extremely successful family-owned, multisite agricultural and groundcare business. Established in 1976 and now employing over 250 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products, holding the market leading John Deere franchise along with many other brands.
As a continuously growing company, we are looking for skilled technicians with passion and drive to join our team. John Deere is recognised as the leading manufacturer of agricultural and turf machinery, and their machinery today is adapting to the changing technological advances and packed with remote connected diagnostics and repairs!
This job will allow you to enhance your technical abilities as well as your understanding of smart farming, whilst working for a highly successful family-owned business.
If you have previous experience of working with agricultural/groundcare machinery then this would be ideal but if not, we can teach you everything you need to know! As long as you are a skilled technician and have an interest in transferring your skills to an exciting and different industry, that’s all you need! In partnership with John Deere, we can put you through their Accelerated Technician Development Scheme, which aims to get you up and running as a fully-fledged John Deere technician within 12 months.
The Benefits:
Our excellent package includes a competitive basic hourly rate of £10 - £18 (dependent on experience), overtime, out of hours call out payment, incentive scheme (potential bonus and commission), up to 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), company vehicle (for mobile technician positions), tool allowance, pension scheme, free financial planning service and on-going training.
