We are in search of a passionate and inspiring Service Manager to lead our Ellington team, a dynamic workshop collective of skilled engineer. Day in and day out, this team dedicates itself to the service of our customers. As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in breathing life into our values, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and fostering an environment that ignites inspiration.

Your responsibilities as a Service Manager will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and empowering the service department. Cultivate a culture of unwavering excellence and continuous growth.
  • Immerse yourself in direct customer interactions, ensuring needs are met with the utmost professionalism and empathetic understanding.
  • Effective planning, administration, and business development to propel profitability and enhance productivity.
  • Skillfully allocate resources – be it personnel, equipment, or budgets – to maximize departmental efficiency and impact.
  • Uphold and elevate our standards of service operations, encompassing safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to support company-wide initiatives and goals.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on departmental performance, introducing improvements as required to optimize results.
  • Employ cutting-edge technology and systems to streamline processes, facilitate seamless communication, and transform our vision into reality.

We value candidates who possess:

  • A proven track record of demonstrated leadership and exceptional communication skills.
  • A deep-seated passion for engineering and an innate understanding of the pivotal role an exceptional team environment plays.
  • Familiarity with roles like Agricultural Service Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Manager, Aftermarket Manager, or Workshop Controller within industries such as Automotive, HGV, Plant, or analogous machinery-based or engineering-based domains.
  • A keen grasp of commercial operations, translating into a profitable and efficient service department.
  • Profound problem-solving abilities and a resilience to navigate shifting landscapes and challenges.
