Are you a results-driven individual with a passion for building customer relationships and maximizing sales opportunities? We are seeking a motivated Proactive Parts Salesperson to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and increasing parts turnover.

As an Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to form new and strengthen existing customer relationships, maximizing our Aftermarket Parts Sales operation through promotional campaigns and telesales. This role operates from a centralized location and provides essential support to our existing depot-based parts teams, with the objective of increasing both parts turnover and our customer portfolio. Reporting to our Group Parts Managers, you will engage with existing and prospective customers, deliver promotional campaigns, and discuss spare parts requirements.

Your responsibilities as a Proactive Parts Salesperson will include:

  • Promote our business as a provider of agricultural spare parts, service items, and consumables.
  • Assist Parts Managers with website enquiries and buying group quotes.
  • Collaborate with Parts Managers on the creation and maintenance of Parts Marketing Strategy, working closely with the Marketing Department.
  • Conduct Process Expert Checks and proactively offer solutions to flagged issues.
  • Utilize provided data to regularly contact customers, increasing parts sales and building customer loyalty.
  • Research the market to identify new Aftermarket business opportunities and competitor customers.
  • Analyse parts purchase frequency within our existing customer database to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Provide support to Sales and Service departments when additional offerings can benefit the customer.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge of Ibcos system preferred but not essential.
