Parts Sales Advisor

Following major investment at the Worlingworth depot including a new purpose-built 14 bay workshop and larger parts warehouse, we are looking for someone with energy and a proactive approach to join the Parts team. The role is full time, 39 hours per week, with additional on call rota for out of hours and weekends.

Job Function:

To provide a successful retail agricultural and turf parts department. Responsible for selling, receiving and the delivery of parts and accessories, focusing on excellent customer experience and maintaining an effective stock management programme.

Essential Duties:

• Serving customers face to face at the counter
• Proactively selling parts and products to customers, via the phone and digital platforms.
• Accurately and quickly supplying Service Technicians with parts.
• Handling phone and online enquiries
• Working within an organised structure using processes and procedures to check and verify receipt of incoming shipments.
• Dealing with Goods In, storing parts in correct locations
• Following up on shortages and flagging issues with the Parts Manager.
• Maintaining control of inventory management, invoicing and other administration tasks.
• Assisting with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays

Skills & Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and a pride in getting things right
• A positive proactive approach but also able to follow a logical/methodical process
• Strong communication skills and exceptional customer service
• An organised, unflappable approach
• Willingness to promote and sell parts and/or services to meet customer needs.
• A team player
• Strong IT skills
• Flexible and able to work extended hours and weekends.
• Parts, sales or machinery experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
• An interest in agricultural and turf machinery
