Role overview
Duties
Auto body panel technicians must communicate with customers and employees to plan and execute repairs to structural assemblies or panel replacement jobs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks and agricultural equipment. They will be required to have knowledge of specialty techniques, including the use of multi materials, welding of different types of metals and alloys and repair and fill to exacting standards.
Completes tasks using manufacturers specified repair methods with accuracy and minimal waste. Completes all work, reports and administration required for work assignments are recorded and provided in a timely manner.
Complies with all Health and Safety legislation and Company Policies and Procedures, to ensure safety of all staff, customers, and visitors.
Participates in any mandatory training Certification programs required for the development of the business and their skills and knowledge. Maintains equipment to exacting standards.
Ensures own and company tools are stored neatly and in their correct locations.
The role requires you to act in a professional manner and actively promote Ripon Paint and Body with positivity and integrity. Knowledge of working in a Bodyshop environment is essential. A driving licence will be required as there will be a need to drive company vehicles.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday (8am till 5pm).
Must be flexible to support with overtime to suit the business demands, seasonal at evenings and weekends.
