E-Commerce & Showroom Salesperson

The Role

A showroom based E-commerce sales role to drive online turf machinery sales and promote the Tuckwell brand while maintaining showroom sales (alongside our current sales team) at our 5,000 square foot modern purpose-built showroom at Ardleigh.

This would be an ideal route into sales or first role in the turf industry

Hours

39 hours per week (including a Saturday on a 1-in-3 rota basis and a day off in lieu)

Essential Duties

• To facilitate and process online turf machinery sales
• Maintain the website with up-to-date pricing, specifications and equipment
• Work in conjunction with the marketing team on promotional activity including producing product videos and create targeted sales campaigns which give advice on equipment options and suitability.
• Communicate with the delivery and installation team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery schedules.
• Follow up after delivery to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Packing and distribution of products as required
• Work with existing team to promote walk-in and telephone sales by giving advice on equipment options and suitability, machinery specifications and pricing quotations.

Skills and Experience

• Excellent customer service delivered using a friendly and professional attitude
• Turf industry knowledge or an interest in the industry plus an understanding or interest in the functionality of turf machinery
• Previous web sales experience
• Excellent creative writing skills and an eye for detail
• Driving seasonal promotions, advertising and maintaining showroom pricing to match promotions
• Able to accurately arrange deliveries and demonstrations
• Assist with open days and regional shows as required
• Use CRM to log all enquiries, opportunities and contacts
• IT competent
