Job Description:

Thomas Sherriff are looking for Customer Support Representatives to strengthen and leverage customer relationships to maximize aftermarket sales of both Parts & Labour through pro-active customer contact and aftermarket promotional campaigns. The successful candidate must be customer service-oriented and enjoy selling retail services. This person must effectively sell parts and services, and maintain and grow relationships with both new and existing customers. You will also work closely with all departments to facilitate customer orders.

Essential Duties:

  • Develops, promotes and sells the Sherriff Aftermarket through promotional campaigns to increase parts and labour sales.
  • Proactive and targeted appointments & contact with customers to increase parts sales and build customer loyalty with the dealer aftermarket department.
  • Researches the market to identify new aftermarket business opportunities among competitor customers and non-traditional segments.
  • Perform Gap Analysis based on customer sales history.
  • Use different communication media like direct mailing, telemarketing, newsletters or the internet to maximize customer transactions with the Dealer on aftermarket business.
  • Supports the Sherriff business with our follow-up process for new equipment sold to maintain customer experience.
  • Classify customers, keep a contact log with quotes & follow up.
  • Monitor competitors products, prices & promotions
  • Record lost sales and understand customers buying criteria.
  • Attend shows to promote & sell the aftermarket.
  • Delivers on Parts/Sales growth targets, measures and reports progress against goals.
  • Work and align with other members of the CSR Team to follow group strategy.
  • Monthly meetings with Group Parts & Service Managers to track progress.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of agricultural & turf equipment and farming
  • Experience in proactive selling.
  • High level of communication and human relations.
  • Excellent customer relationship
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions
  • Ability to work in a team or solitary environment
  • Excellent attitude with integrity and honesty.
