Agricultural Technician / Mechanic

Job Function:
Performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment, based on the training certification program. Aftermarket sales oriented.
Essential Duties:
1. Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or turf equipment, including AMS products.
2. Completes all reports and administration required for work assignments (job cards – time sheets, etc.).
3. Maintains a clean work station, assists with overall workshop organization and correct use of tools and vehicles.
4. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
5. Participates in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
6. Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field when required.
7. Performs pre-delivery set up on new or used equipment.
8. Supports Service Specialists when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience performing service repairs
Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to affect the repair of agricultural equipment
Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Good customer relationship skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Full driving license is essential
Ability to work extended hours and weekends
Hours of work
Monday to Friday: 08.30am 5.00pm
Saturdays Rota: 08.00am - 12.00pm
Participate in the on-call rota
